Adobe Connect Add In Install
PCI OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller IS NOT RECOGNIZED!!!!?
Added a PCI USB 2.0 1394 Firewire card to my computer. The driver cd that came with it was an install cd for unlead video studio..... In my adobe premiere caprure mode, it recognises the card but it says that it cant connect to its driver. When i go to add hardware in the controll panel, it says that it has been installed propperly and also that it is working propperly but i can NOT connect my Sony DCR TRV33E. It works fine when i use the normal usb cable but not when i try to use the fire wire cable. What can i do to make it work???? do i need a driver? if so, where can i get it? I have tried to get a driver but i never found anything that actually worked. Does anyone know what i have to do to make it work?
I am running Windows Xp Professional SP3!
Thanks for any help!
is it the actual 1394 that's not recognized or just the Sony device
most Sony Devices have their own drivers and you either have a CD that came with the Sony Device or you have to go to their web site and get the drivers because windows doesn't know what to do with it other wise
and doesn't have any "Sony" drivers built in
